CHEMTOU ET BULLA REGGIA:
Chamtou and Bulla Reggia welcome your visit. Those two Roman quarters were prosperous metropolis before their destruction by an earthquake. At the edge of the Oued, in Chamtou, at the middle of extended ruins, an antique outstanding museum was built. In Bulla Reggia, mosaics attract your attention, as well as the thermal baths. But what will astonish you the most are the ventilation and air-conditioning systems installed by the Romans.

DOUGGA:
One of the best preserved Roman cities in North Africa is the Theatre with 25 stepped rows of seats, the colonnade of the stage, the thermal baths built on the hillside. The Capitol, with its portico and its pediment. The Temple of Caelestis is erected in an ancient olive wood; the temple of Saturn from where we can see a very extended panorama. Behind a Byzantine fence, a necropolis where we find Berber graves at the dolmen of Europe, which a great curiosity.

Numerous ruins at a 750 m show the importance of the Sicca Vénéria .
An outstanding monument: the Christian Basilica Dar El Kous, dedicated to Saint Pierre, the city contains many mosques and zaouias and a Turkish Kasbah built with ancient materials. The Mosque of Sidi Makhlouf reminds of the Andalusian presence , so frequent in the region .
